Surfing Dog Helps People with Disabilities

This video is 5:14, but if you watch the whole thing, you'll be happy you did. Ricochet was trained to be a service dog, showed promise, but did not make the cut. But she was able to turn her amazing ability to surf into a service to people with disabilities. Just amazing.

Greetings,
I love to see this video of all the hard work and dedication you have done training this K-9. Excellent job to you both!
One thing that caught my eye though was the float coat used on the dog. It does not look like it fits as it should? A service dog used with people with disabilities should have the very best for any situation that may come up. I think you would agree? I have done a lot of research on K-9 life jackets and found these to be the very best hands down, for a K-9. These are made so the dog can not get turned upside down & stuck in a drowning position. Please check out this web site. http://www.ruffwear.com/dog_life_jackets The Big Eddy Float Coat is made for performance K-9's in rough or fast moving waters.
I am in no way affiliated with this site, but I am disabled and use a service dog companion. I know the importance of keeping our K-9's safe & comfortable.
Please keep up your awesome work training service dogs!

Thanks, Klarina and Jeannine for posting, but I did not train this dog and have no affiliation with the program that's featured in this story. I thought it was a neat story, so I linked to it. You may want to share your comments with the program. Thanks.
